Scoring, Process, and Rules
The TeamWorks Season is open until November 31st
Points awarded will be determined by three variables:
● Total volunteer hours
● Teams that host a new Adopt-a-Crag amass points for the volunteer hours of all attendees, including non-team members.
● Teams that attend an existing Adopt-a-Crag amass points for volunteer hours of team members and coaching staff only.
● Average of volunteer hours (total hours/team size)
● A qualitative component based on type of work performed. For example, did you bring together the climbing community? Did your work have a wide reaching impact?
In December 2008 the Winners will be announced.
● The first place team will receive a $2000 cash grant, the "Golden Toothbrush" award and a full page write up in Urban Climber Magazine.
● The 2nd place team will receive cash grant of $1250.
● The 3rd place team will receive a cash grant of $750.
● The remainder of the top ten teams will receive a cash grant of $250.
Rules of the Game:
● Teams may host or attend more than one Adopt-a-Crag event.
● Scorecards must be signed by Adopt-a-Crag event host.
● Scorecards must be faxed -or- post-marked no later than December 1, 2008.
● Teams hosting an Adopt-a-Crag event must submit a scorecard and a post event evaluation to earn points.
● Teams hosting a new Adopt-a-Crag must be the primary organization listed on the Adopt-a-Crag registration. Secondary organizations for Adopt-a-Crag registration are not considered the host of that Adopt-a-Crag event.
● Participating teams must be located in the United States.
● Gyms associated with the TeamWorks Team will be added to the Access Fund Community Partners.
● Team members will receive Access Fund E-News.
