- Continued work with the Gunks Climbers Coalition to address organizational concerns about the best way to structure a local climbing organization to be affective, nimble, and legitimate.

- Attended a meeting of the Gunks Climbers Coalition and discussed organizational strategies. Also toured Peters Kill State Park, Rosendale, and the Gunks with local climbers and discussed ongoing access issues and solutions (2005)
- Continued work with local climbing activists and the Gunks Climbers Coalition to advocate on behalf of climbers and open several areas to climbing. (2005)
- Supporting individual activists and local climbing organizations: Minnewaska State Park, New York: Provided support and resources to the Gunks Climbers Coalition to address a raptor closure at Minnewaska State Park for ravens. (2004)
- Provided guidance to climbers from: Adirondacks regarding potential formation of an LCO and communications with land managers. (2004)
- Climbing preservation grants awarded in 2004: Gunks Climbers Coalition, New York. The Gunks Climbers Coalition was awarded a grant for campground improvements at the New York Department of Environmental Conservation Multiple Use Area. Improvements will include a new and more detailed campground map, signs and clearer designation of camping sites. The free campground, which has been used by climbers for decades, is located adjacent to the Mohonk Preserve. (2004)
- Adirondack State Park, NY. Working with local climbers and park officials to oppose a fixed anchor ban. (2003)
- Drafted administrative comments and related advocacy work on management plans for various public land units across the country, including Giant and Dix Wilderness Areas (NY). (2003)
