Access Fund work in Tennessee
- Reviewed the Big South Fork/Obed Wild and Scenic River Oil and Gas Management Plan to ensure that proposed management alternatives do not negatively affect climbing or the climbing resource (2006)
- Facilitated a climbers meeting in Chattanooga to share the Access Fund vision, hear local concerns and issues, and join the local community in a shared vision of working together to reach common goals that represent the interests of the entire community as an LCO (2006)
- Met and toured with land managers at Chickamuaga and Chattanooga National Military Park, TN (Sunset Rock) to hear of their management and relationship with climbers and share the national insight and resources of the Access Fund (2006)
- Communication and strategizing with NPS ranger at the Obed Wild and Scenic River National Park regarding other potential approaches to managing bolt placement including the creation of a bolting advisory committee (2006)
- Working with local climbers on the revival of the East Tennessee Climbers Coalition (2005)

- Obed Wild and Scenic River, TN. Drafted comments to the National Park Service on a Draft Climbing Management Plan for the Obed. (2002)
- Obed Wild and Scenic River, TN. Awarded a research grant to the National Park Service. Research will be conducted by the Univ. of TN on the use, demographics and economic impact of climbing at the Obed. (2002)
