CRAG-VT Completes Purchase of Upper West Bolton Cliff
The Climbing Resource Access Group of Vermont (CRAG-VT) completed the subdivision and purchase of Upper West Bolton Cliff in Bolton, VT, establishing permanent protection of the area’s natural and recreational resources.
Option Secured to Purchase Lower Index Town Wall, WA
An option agreement to purchase the 20-acre private inholding at the Lower Index Town Walls of Snohomish County, Washington has been secured. The popular climbing area was closed earlier this year when the private landowner revoked access due to renewed interest from quarrying companies. After weeks of negotiations, an option agreement was reached that gives the Washington Climbers Coalition the sole right to purchase the property for long-term management.
