Dates: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 11 - 14, 19-21 & 26-28.

Join the Conservation Team and Washington Climbers Coalition at the Substation in Exit 38!

The team will work to continue stabilization efforts on the platforms people use for belaying and congregating at the Substation climbing area located beneath the Iron Horse Trail. This is a continuation of a multi-year project (started in 2021) with the goal of making one of Washington's most used climbing spots more sustainable for future generations.

Meet at 8:30 AM at the Substation/Exit 38 trailhead. Work wraps up around 3 PM.

Volunteers are welcome to join whenever they are able to chip in!

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:

  • Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

  • Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

  • Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!

  • ​​Although we'll be outside, if you are feeling ill or have had any recent exposure to Covid please reconsider and stay home to rest up!
