Secure the Ledges

Access Fund, Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, and Friends of the Ledges need your help! We have secured a key parcel of land between Cathedral Ledge and Whitehorse Ledge in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire that will ensure long term access to the Bryce Path, the common descent from Whitehorse Ledge, and protection of the viewshed seen from both of these popular and historic climbing destinations. Learn more about this project.

To ensure public access for both climbers and other visitors, Access Fund will hold a conservation and recreation easement on the property while the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust will be the long term owner of the property, and the Friends of the Ledges will act as volunteer stewards, an ideal partnership which will ensure long-term access and a commitment to the highest level of stewardship.
