Calaveras Dome Adopt a Crag

  • 43600 Salt Springs Rd Pioneer, CA, 95666 United States (map)

Come be a part of the fun and help clean up Tahoe’s backcountry big wall! The plan is to start up the river by the Calaveras Dome and work our way down cleaning up the dispersed and designated camping areas. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves, however rubber gloves will be provided.

Volunteers will need to bring their own water, snacks, and food for the clean up and camping. There will be water bottles in case of emergency. This is a 2 day event, dispersed camping will be along the Mokelumne river.

You do NOT have to participate in both days of the event to attend this clean up. However, camping and getting to know the other volunteers, as well as exploring this beautiful area is worth it!!

All volunteers will be meeting at the quarry (by the dam) to check in, gather supplies, and collect their raffle tickets. Raffle will be held on Sunday 9/22/24.
All donations and additional raffle ticket purchases will be going to the clean up and rebolting of Calaveras Dome. There will also be a BBQ on Sunday provided to all volunteers and Rangers at the Devils Nose Day Use area at 1:00pm.

Check out the event page and register here!
