Join the New Mexico Climbers Resource and Advocacy Group (NMCRAG) for an Adopt a Crag! In partnership with the Carson National Forest, this work weekend will focus on improving the climbing approach trails at so they can become part of the official trail system. This is a BIG deal for the El Rito climbing walls & they need your muscles!

• Join for one day or come camp for the weekend

• FREE CAMPING at the official El Rito Campground group site located just past Little River Wall (okay to arrive July 10 to setup your camp)

• Wear long pants, gloves, closed-toe-shoes, eye protection (sunglasses are OK)

• All tools will be provided by the USFS

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep the following in mind:

• Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

• Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

• Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!
