Please join the Minnesota Climbers Association for the 2026 Ḣe Mni Caŋ Adopt-a-Crag.

Meet up in Red Wing at the trailhead of Ḣe Mni Caŋ [Heh-Meh-NEE-Cha] (also know as, Barn Bluff) at 9:30am on Saturday July 18th.

Come prepared for a day outside. Bring your climbing gear for some après work sends. This is a fantastic opportunity for new climbers to get involved in our vibrant and growing climbing community.

Goals of the day:

1. General trash pick-up

2. Light climbing area trail work

3. Clear areas at the base of climbs of any rocks/logs/branches

Climbers are guests here. Say "thank you" to our hosts, The Bdewakantunwan Dakota and the city of Red Wing, by helping out on this day of stewardship.

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:

• Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

• Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

• Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!
