Join the Access Fund Conservation Team at the Thumb Open Space in Estes Park, CO!

Join us!

The Conservation Team will be working on creating sustainable and hand-bike usuable tread up to the Thumb and Needle by installing large switchbacks and rock pavers on steep sections of tread.

Meet at 9 AM at the Thumb OS parking lot.  Work wraps up around 3 PM. Feel free to bring your climbing gear to get some post-volunteer pitches!

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:

  • Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

  • Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

  • Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!

All volunteers must complete the Access Fund waiver prior to volunteering. Volunteers also must agree to Access Fund’s Code of Conduct.
