Climbing in Red Rock. © Drew Smith.
I live in Las Vegas, so Red Rock has been a huge part of my life for years. It’s wild to see how much it’s grown in popularity—more climbers, more traffic, more pressure on the land. Honestly, it’s amazing to see so many people discovering climbing. But with that growth creates some challenges for places like Red Rock or Indian Creek.
That’s why I’m proud to support Access Fund. They’re out there day in and day out—advocating for access, protecting threatened public lands, and educating climbers on how to respect and care for the places we love, like Red Rock. Their Conservation Teams and Climber Stewards are making a real difference—building sustainable trails, restoring damaged areas, and reaching thousands of climbers each year across the country.
I want to make sure the next generation of climbers can have the same experiences I have.
Right now, Movement Climbing, Yoga & Fitness is matching every donation up to $50,000 to help expand this work. That means anything you give today will go twice as far.
We’re at a point where we can’t take climbing access for granted. Public lands are under real pressure—from budget cuts to overuse to sell offs for mining and development. If we don’t step up to protect these places, they could be lost—forever.
Your support will help:
Expand Access Fund’s Climber Steward program so even more climbers can learn about the natural and cultural history of these lands, and how to recreate responsibly.
Eliminate social trails and build sustainable infrastructure like stone steps, retaining walls, and signage to handle the growing number of climbers.
Continue fighting to keep public lands public, and ensure funding is available to steward these lands.
If climbing means as much to you as it does to me, this is the time to give something back.
Thanks for being part of the solution.
