Meet Anna Hazlett
Anna started climbing in a Southern California gym before quickly taking her passion outdoors. The granite boulders of Joshua tree helped shape her climbing style, teaching footwork, balance and patience that continue to guide her today. Those skills have taken her from local boulders to first ascents and big wall expeditions around the world.
When she’s not climbing, Anna shares her journey through film. On YouTube, she offers a vulnerable and lighthearted look at life on the road, documenting the highs, lows, and lessons that come with pushing her while pushing her limits. For Anna, it’s never just about sending the route. It’s about the experiences, the people, and the stories that unfold along the way.
Anna’s a strong advocate for the LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC communities, as well as for female empowerment. She’s an equally strong advocate for chronically underappreciated slab climbing: “slab is sexy,” after all.
