Join Mid Atlantic Climbers for a day of graffiti removal, trash pickup, and vegetation trimming. Volunteers will be removing the graffiti using Elephant Snot – an environmentally friendly product that will be applied with brushes, scrubbed vigorously, and then washed off the rock with pressure washers. We will also be picking up trash around the crag and potentially trimming overgrown vegetation.
Because this is a graffiti project, wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty in. We recommend long pants and long sleeves, as some volunteers have reported minor skin irritation due to prolonged skin contact with the graffiti removal product we will be using. We provide all PPE (goggles, gloves, masks) but if you have your own working gloves in your preferred size, please bring them along.
For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:
Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.
Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.
Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!

All volunteers must complete the Access Fund waiver prior to volunteering. Volunteers also must agree to Access Fund’s Code of Conduct.
